| The answer to your question depends on your intention? For example: - are you overstocked and need to reduce the numbers, - do you intend to enter Koi shows or - keep pond fish for your own enjoyment. |

| Hi jan I have a 15- 16k pond so i am overstocked.as there are about 4 more other koi that are also in the pond.
I do want to joint the koi association, and would like to enter koi someday.

| Some nice koi.
I would dump 3,7,9,10,11,12 & 17 to make space for the others.
Best: 18,4,5,6 in this order |

| To me, the Shusui has a football bodyshape which is undesireable, not a clean head which is important when it comes to Shusui, very small pectoral fins and a pattern loss in the front. The Hi extends too high up in places and unbalanced. |

| Hi,
I like: 5 and 6
I will keep these a bit longer to see what happen: 1,4,8,11,13,15,16,18
I don't like: 2,3,7,9,10,12,14, and 17. |

| Nice looking fish, i quite like no3 and no6 but then again i just buy the fish i like even if i know they not show winners.
I say keep the fish you like flog the ones you don't unless your intentions purely to show them.

| Hi Micheal
I would like to say you should keep (as pond fish) for the time being.
No 1,4,5,6,8,13,14,16,17 and 18 This must be seen as a first round cull and then re-asses your pond after a few weeks or when you obtain better quality. I don't think any of the fish is show quality. You should look at buying from reputable dealers that specialize in better quality Koi.

| Thanks Neville
I do have some from reputable dealers, like Orient koi , Happy Koi , Aquatica. and lookilocks But i guess to have the real Good qaulity koi you got to spend the big bucks. when buying the smaller koi, it dont always turn out to be what you hope it will be.
thanks Guys. |
