| Hi, I am Paul's "significant other" I bought this at Servaas's raffle at Bonnievale last year when SAKKS had an open day at Platinum Koi. Opinions on the variety and quality will be appreciated. |

| Hi Jaco Bonnie remains an ongoing debate between Paul and I. I forgot to mention that (s)he changes colour. Winter pitch black with the fins remaining white, and when the temperature rises - the bronze starts appearing followed by white.

| I have also heard Kujaku and Benigoi.
Servaas De Kock told me it is a Beni Kikokuryu.
In view of the fact that it changes colour all the time, it probably is a Kikokuryu (Metallic Kumonryu)
I believe it might be a Kin Kikokuryu as apposed to a Beni Kikokuryu.
Kin Kikokuryu is a fairly new variety, and the photos on the net is very much the same as this one. Metallic copper on white skin. |

| Hi Bonnie is now beginning to show her black more. White is almost completely gone. Will try to get some pics soon on the site. |

| Hi All
Definitely a Kin Kikokuryu I saw a lot at Kase in April during our baying trip in Japan. On quality not bad. Nice Koi. |

They actually often share the same breeding stock and are good friends. Servaas never said where this one came from, although all the raffled fish came from the Niigata region. Herewith a Beni Kikokuryu which I imported from Kase. |
