Subject: Can anyone identify the koi Fri Sep 17, 2010 4:31 pm
Has anyone got any idea what this Koi is in my profile picture.she is about 6 years old 56 cm and probaly weighs about 4 kg , she has got a huge belly........

It looks like a Matsuba orange with black scalation. She is probably full of eggs. How big is your pond? how many fish do you have? Post a picture. 56cm for a 6year old seems a small. Anver

Hello I have 9500l pond ,about 1000l filter system , 15 fish varying in size from 10cm- 70cm......This fish has always been stumpy from birth....The judges at our show last month refuse to name it....I was first lead to believe it was a ghost koi...Must admit she is fat all year round...ugly as hell but greediest and friendlist fish in my pond. thanks
