I would like to mention that the Koi in photo 1 is not a Shusui. It is called a Kousui.

Problem is when you start off you want to buy everything and keep everything
We forget the 2:8 ratio .... double length then eight times the mass.
I have had good growth as well, as the conditions in my pond are ideal. Only 8 days during winter did my water go to 18 deg rest of the time around 20 deg.

Pieter the will the blue appear later on the Kousui or willit remain white. Accord to other articles the Kousui is quite rare.

N klompie baie mooi visse.

Die wat vir my uitstaan is die Kumonryo en die Kohaku altwee is regtig mooi.

Dan is die Yamabuki ook n baie mooi vis.

The kohaku resembles the one that you are using as a profile picture.

I was in JHB on Thursday and Friday, went to a few Koi dealers but their is stock are low at the moment.
It is a bit frustrating because when the new stack arrives all the best Koi are quickly snapped up and us out of towners never really get to see the good stuff
