Took my book worm grandaughter to Readers Warehouse to get her monthly supply of books,I started cratching in the clearence bin for anything technical and found a whole pile of fish related books which I think is ideal for beginners like my self or even more informed keepers.

The Cult Of The Koi
Second edition - Revised and Expanded (320 A4 pages) by
Michugo Tamadachi

This book covers the whole spectrum of Koi Keeping with lots of stunning photo's of the different varieties and champion photo's of these.
All it cost me was R 130 a real bargain for the two.
Maybe there is a Readers Warehouse near you have a look.

Water table is at seven meters in winter,if I cant reach at least three and a half meters we will scrub the whole idea,I need depth for the airlifts to be effective enough to give a good turn over.
