PostSubject: First Heavy rains in the Cape   cape - First Heavy rains in the Cape EmptySun May 09, 2010 5:55 pm

Hi, just want to remind everyone in the cape area to check their Total Alkalinity especially the guys around the refinery.

The first rains of the season are usually a bit acid and affects the TA. Last your there where koi keepers that had a PH crash a few days after the rains and seeing as our buffering is very low in the water i thought i would just remind everyone.

People that do their weekly water changes should be ok....its the ones that do it once a month or even less often that needs to worry.
