Airlifts Empty
PostSubject: Airlifts   Airlifts EmptyWed Apr 21, 2010 11:41 pm

Hi all,
Being relatively new to this, and spend some time going through all the Topics and Post on this forum and others, gaining a heck of a lot of information and getting hooked more and more on the way.
I only have limited space for a pond and can squeeze in a quarter of a three meter circel. and the proposed filter below in one of the corners of the property.
I have decided to go for a Airlift filtration and circulation system,to minimise operational cost, now dont Laughing living in Fish Hoek we always have a good south easter and north wester I intend to drive the compressor for the air supplying the airlifts with the wind, and only go 220/12 V Batteries when there is no wind.
The same method is used in the states for irrigation in remote areas.
I had a lot of experience with airlifts and know they can deliver a hell of a lot of water depending on the size and air delivery.
I request all readers to give ideas ect just hope the drawing is clear enough.

The photo looks ok on my PC,it was exported as a jpg from the Cad program, hope it makes sense on the forum.
Thanks in advance
Bill D (aka Toppie)
