I love kaboem mielies .... for those that do not know the stuf ... the Capies especially ... it is whole kernel yellow mielies boiled for aroun 6 hours till plump, soft and the skins start splitting.
Will it work for the koi ? ... I know carp loves it and it is a popular bait.

I am sure it will get them fed. But the nutritional value is very low as far as your koi are concerned. And then I am concerned that the skins can sit in the fish gills, for that reason I also dont feed whole wheat bread to my koi.
I am sure Chris will tell you more about it.

My mother always told me to eat my "mielie pap" because it will make me Big and Strong I want my Koi to be big and strong, LOL
My mother always told me that popcorn is junk food. Don't feed popcorn, LOL
I can tell you one thing, my koi loves eating sweetcorn from the cob. I tie it to a rope, and it keeps them busy for hours. I think it is good for a snack.
