Olives Empty
PostSubject: Olives   Olives EmptyFri Jul 30, 2010 9:12 am

Hi

Was wondering if anyone has ever tried feeding their Koi's olives or mixing olive extract with the koi food?

I've read this on a label before:
Olive has natural anti-oxidant properties and naturally inibits pathogen growth such as bacteria, viruses, parasites and fungi, therefore protecting and stimulating the immune system.

I then came accross this website yesterday which makes for some interesting reading regarding olives:
http://www.candida-albicans-cure.com/olive-leaf-extract.html

What do you guys think?
Maybe Mr. Neaves can look into adding olives to his Shogun recipe Very Happy

I mix olive oil into the koi food that i feed and garlic and honey. I do it but not often, maybe once a week.
