Been feeding, watching and posting updates on my baby koi. Its amazing to see them row, first they were all along the side of the pond, now its one big "swarm" of fish, zooming around.
Interesting to see how the colours develope, but here is my question? Who can explain / guide / maybe post a link on breeding / genetics and possible outcomes?
Second question, the base colour of a koi will not change right?

Been looking at the little koi, and its interesting, from a Yamabuki Hariwaki (male) and a yellow / orange Ogon (female) have gort a interesting colour range. Some look exactly like the Hariwaki, some are Hariwaki but yellow head, silver body. Now the strange one, noticed two fish, silver head and blue body...........
