| One of my ponds have been taken over by frogs/tadpoles. Hundreds of the buggers: What is the best way to get rid of them? |

| I had that once. I don't know how you can get rid of them, but just know that my big koi wouldn't eat the tadpoles. They used to play with the frogs, sucking their limbs etc and pullling them all over the pond. lol I would physically remove them and take them down to the river. I never had that many so seem to have caught it in time. |

| Frogs in a pond / dam is bad news....frogs always return to the pond where they grew up, when its matting time...so 1 or 2 frogs laid their eggs in your pond now....next year you will have 100.
Koi dont eat tadpoles as they have a bitter taste, they might try it once but will spit it out almost immedialty.
There was a topic on one of the 2 SA forums (or was it the KOISA) where the frogs where trying to mate with they guys koi in his pond an the frogs where actually sufficating the koi with their deadly love embrase. |

Two years ago, In the link below you said your koi eat tadpoles. I guess they have had enough now or you are feeding more pellets than back then and tadpoles dont look so delicouse anymore. Frogs attach themselves to koi? More froggy stuff. FROGS |
