Non-return valve Empty
PostSubject: Non-return valve   Non-return valve EmptyMon Dec 21, 2009 12:58 pm

I have decided to fit non-return valves on both my pumps in the bigger pond. The one pump struggle a bit to get going after it was switched off for a while.

I got hold of some proper spring loaded valves but they are made from brass. Will this be a problem in a Koi pond?

Yes, I would not use it.
Put an ordinary 50mm valve in.

Hi Marius, against advice I also used it to learn the hard way that it does not work in a Koi environment.
