Hi,

What do you guys use to test:

Ammonia levels;
pH;
Oxygen levels;
Water hardness;
Nitrates;
etc?

I would like to test my own water because I don't want to always run to my local pet shop.

Thanks,
Cameron

What SAS said is correct. In Bloem I got hold of a SERA TEST KIT. It test hardness, pH, Ammonia, Copper, Nitrate, Nitrite. About R800 but fitted in a neat case and professional
It might be cheaper to buy loose bottles for what ever you want to test. At first I was confused about the hardness test since it was in degrees of hardness and not parts per million. Bare this in mind that degrees of hardness is equal to 17.8 ppm per million. If you get a reading of 5 degrees it will be 89ppm which is at the bottom line of what it should be. Got scared at first since I thought my hardness was far to low but Wayne gave me the correct info
