Koi Online/Western Cape Koi Chapter (SAKKS)
A joint fun day on 4 October 2009 Nishiki Koi Farm, Klein-Dassenberg From 10h00 onwards

We would really appreciate the support of all Koi lovers to spend the day with us at Nishiki Koi Farm Klein-Dassenberg. Paul Viljoen has set up this Koi event for us all to enjoy a wonderful fun-filled Koi day. Bring your family along to make this a more memorable day. Koi Online will provide us with a braai area and fire. The WCKC will sell braai packs, sodas, chips and beer for our club funding. Your support is appreciated and we are looking forward to meet new and experienced Koi Keepers.

1. Grow and Show Auction

As WCKC chairman I challenge any member to join me in this grow out competition.
We can share pictures every 4 months on the web to compare progress. Remember
Koi Online has donated the proceeds of this auction to WCKC.

2. Sakai Matsunosuke Pond Drag and Auction

On auction will be Sanke, Showas & Kohakus / Sakai Matsunosuke bloodline
A Tosai expert Quinton Jones had a recent sneak preview and commented on their
very good quality. This would be an excellent opportunity to add value to your pond.

3. Hobbyist Auction Boot Sale and Auction

Rent your pond from WCKC and sell your Koi on auction to make space for the Matsunosuke available on auction at this event.
The rental per vat will be R250.00 per vat and is payable into SAKKS Western Cape account before 29 September 2009. The vats must be collected from storage therefore please forward me proof of payment. Only vats booked upfront will be available on site. Hobbyist sales with or without a pre-booked vat will be charged @ R250.00 per hobbyist. Members and non members are welcome to take part in car boot sales. (No commission charged on your sales)

4. WCKC Regalia table and Sales.

There will be Koi books, caps and badges available for sale.
Please remember to join us for a braai and get your braai packs from us on site.
The WCKC will also enter Koi to be auctioned and the proceeds will be for our club.

My QT setup is up and running to receive the SAKKS / WCKC Challenge grow-out Hi Utsuri's on 4 October. Last night at our monthly WCKC meeting / social you had a lots to say about the grow-out rules. There is only one rule, you have to bid and buy one, give it plenty of TLC or its going to bite you the but at our 2010 Show.

You are welcome to some side bets on the Sakai Go Sanke.

From the Western Cape Koi Chapter a very big thank you to Paul and Rezanne for a wonderful day out at your Koi farm. I am sure that the 45 plus people that visited you farm today enjoyed this Koi Social. A very warm thanks from the WCKC for the opportunity to take part and to earn valuable money for our SAKKS coffers. The Koi Online sponsored grow-out Hi Utsuri's is going to be a talking point for the year to come.
