The Gauteng annual koi show will be held at the Coke Cola Dome, Randburg on 27, 28, 29 March 2009.

The organisers expect between 18 000 - 22 000 to attend the show.

It will form part of the Gardenex show and is an event not to be missed.

We will have a dealer stand and will be releasing our new February imports there for sale.

All top quality/show fish:

Platinums from Chogoro, the best platinum breeder in the world.

Yamabuki's and Hi Utsuri's from Hirasawa, world renowned for Yamabuki and Hi Utsuri.

Ochiba Shigure's from Yamazaki, the world specialists in Ochiba.

Goshiki's from Hiroi, world famous for goshiki.

Kohaku, Showa and Sanke from Sakai (the sought after Matsunosuke bloodline)

Various koi from other top breeders from Niigata, Japan, including Aoki, Miyatora, Ishihara, Takahashi and Kase.

I saw some photos of Sakai (Matsunosuke)'s go-sanke Tosai this year, seems like the tradition slim and thin body shape of the Matsunosuke bloodline has changed, i guess they introduced some new blood into it in order to improve something, am i correct?
