| I have created a Trickle tower/Baki shower filter on behalf of two clients who needed additional filtration, and I am now adding the system to various of my ponds, as it works very well. I am now also offering the system for sale. It is also very portable and I will be using it at koi shows for filtration/oxygen of my sales pond. Oxygen are being created externally and the oxygen rich water flows into the pond via a pipe without disturbing the view of fish. It also creates mechanical filtration by way of Japanese matting at the bottom of each layer. I am still doing various tests on the effectiveness (conversion rates and increase in oxygen levels) and the results will be posted soon. Please give me your views. Photo without top lid, spray bar sprays upwards against lid. Back view (50 mm inlet & outlet) Can be extended unlimited according to your size of pond. _________________ Paul Viljoen E Mail: koi@absamail.co.za ; http://www.koionline.co.za

| Very nice and cheap, mine was made from stainless steel and I used Loolitubes as media and total costs were about R6000. These would do the same thing at a much better price. |

| Thanks for the reply. Nice to get positive feedback. It is amazing to see how much some people ask for trickle filters, and there were no ways that I was prepared to pay that prices. I even heard of a quote for R 30 000.00 from a dealer in the Cape recently, believe it or not. (Hearsay) _________________ Paul Viljoen E Mail: koi@absamail.co.za ; http://www.koionline.co.za

| Hey Paul, That is truely a great idea Did you design it on your own? Or was there a MASTER mind be hind your design. I am sure it will be a great success. It should fit in with my system quite nicely. |

| My trickle tower in operation at my stand at the koi show over the weekend. My water was crystal clear after 4 days and the fish were very happy despite the fact that I had no additional aeration. _________________ Paul Viljoen E Mail: koi@absamail.co.za ; http://www.koionline.co.za

| 10 000 liters per/hour per platform to be safe. If you need more, you just add another platform with 3 - 8 tiers on each platform. _________________ Paul Viljoen E Mail: koi@absamail.co.za ; http://www.koionline.co.za

| I'm just trying to work out how I could add this in a pressure system. The trickle will need to be above water level.
You say it is easy to clean, how does one clean the mechanical matting that you mentioned at the bottom of each tray? Does it just slide out from the front?
What media does it come with? Or will that be added later by the client? |

| You divert the outlet to your garden/drain and squirt the filter down with chlorine free water, and from time to time you take out the media lying on Matala, Japanese/Chinese matting at the bottom of each upper tray by purely sliding it out to the front. You can also place your biomedia in veggie bags to easily remove it, squirt it down, and replace it.
The system comes with a chinese matting and shadecloth sheet at the bottom of the top trays and bioballs are an optional extra @ 65c each. We recommend at least 100 balls per tray if you use bioballs. _________________ Paul Viljoen E Mail: koi@absamail.co.za ; http://www.koionline.co.za
