How to build a veggie / Bakkie Shower Empty
PostSubject: How to build a veggie / Bakkie Shower   How to build a veggie / Bakkie Shower EmptyMon Aug 25, 2008 11:38 am

Hi there,

I want to experiment a bit & build a bakkie shower, but where the top chaimber is also a veggie filter.

So I have the following questions...

1) Does the water plant roots have to be covered under water all the time or will a spray bar over them, create sufficient saturation of the roots?

2) What plants would work best in this scenario?

3) I plan to push around 6000L to 9000L an hour through this, how manny holes ? of what size do you recomend?

4) It will be a 50mm spraybar pipe... once again, how many holes & what diameter.

The size of my containers are roughly.... 80cm long, 35cm wide & 30 cm high.

What would you do?
