PostSubject: HELP ME BUY KOI FOOD ON LINE PSE   Sat Jun 07, 2008 8:14 pm

Hi, could someone tell me where I can buy Koi food on-line (and pay via cc). Our local shop sells only one type which seems inferior and is R70 for 1kg which is ridiculous Evil or Very Mad Just dont tell me about Hikari as its way too expensive and I dont wanna have to extend my overdraft just to feed my fish!!
Thanks
Barbara

Barbara sorry to say but R70-R90 / kg is roughly the retail price of most koi foods nowadays.

The only dealer i know with web based cc facilities is Happy koi, they are selling their Hikari Economy koi food at R 395 for 5kg...R 79 / kg which is not that bad...check out http://www.myfishfood.com/hikari%20economy%20koi%20food.htm They even have 10Kg Hikari Friend koi food for R 595 that is R 59 / kg.

Alternativly Paul (The Admin of this site and owner of www.KoiOnline.co.za) might be able to help you out with some Aqua Nutro koi food that he got for very cheap, think it was R 90 for 5 kgs but i am not sure if he has cc facilities.

Hi Barbara

Sorry for the late reply. I agre with Wayne, as far as I know, the only place that sell food online is Happy Koi.

We do sell Aquanutro at R 15/kilo but it is not viable for us to send it by mail as our markup is very small.

My suggestion is to stock up whenever you come down to CT. I am sure you are quite used to large distances living on the edge of the barren Richtersveld? Laughing
