Hi Colyn,

Thanks for your reply. cheers

This sanke it still small (+- 25cm), so i guess it's difficult to comment on it quality and potential.

Hi SAS

is the koi doits? cant see on the photo very clearly.

I prefer the sanke type sumi that looks like small fine stepping stones instead of the blodgy sumi spots of showa.

Hi Wayne,

She is not a Doits. I do agree with you the sumi are in a large size.

The quality of the shiroji looks good but it is difficult to judge from a photo.

The Sumi is very strong but I don't like the pattern of the sumi.

The hi on the head is good with a good menware, but the hi on the body is not deep enough and might deteriorate.

The general balance of white, red and black is fairly good.

I think the fish is too bulky for it's age.

Hi Admin,

For more information refer to this post:
https://koionline.forumotion.com/photos-of-the-good-bad-and-ugly-koi-f1/sanke-x-showa-off-spring-t354.htm

This is a second generation (Sanke X Showa) koi. As i said in another post the sumi have been improved, but the down side is the body shape is not good. By mean, this koi will unlikely to grow very big like most Showa do.

Hi is not deep enough is just because i never feed her an color enhancer. So, the hi you are saw is the natural hi of the koi. And the hi takes time to get deeper, but i don't think the hi on the body will fade.

I am looking for a Sanke with good growth, good body shape and small size sumi to breed with her. But i haven't found anything yet.

regards,
SAS
