PostSubject: New water feature and Koi   Tue Dec 25, 2012 9:24 am

I'm in the randburg area and looking to stock my new water feature with some Koi. I'm not fussy about make, model etc, just want some nice youngsters which I can watch grow. Any ideas and pointers? I don't wish to pend a fortune but I see some posts advising to stay clear of petshops etc
Thanks in advance
Nick

Hi Nick
Yes, please don't buy from pet shops, they only set you off on the wrong foot. There are lots of dealers around you that will gladly assist you with some starter koi. Welcome to the forum and be warned, this hobby bites you hard Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Very Happy Take some time and go visit Oom Costa from Sakura Koi and you will be hooked for life. affraid
