PostSubject: The Old Pond   Fri Jul 27, 2012 5:34 pm

These pics are from my pond at our last house. Loved this one, which is why Im soooo desperate to get my new big pond built. This one was about 10 to 15 000l

Sorry I know Im flooding the forum, its just so nice to have a local forum, with guys who are as passionate out this as I am :-)

The garden around the fish pond.

From the Garden up to the house. (Our bedroom). Here you can see the brickhousing for the pump, and the settlement chamber (Right)

Lily Pond

The whole pond from the pool.

Settlement chamber viewed from pond area. Wanted all equipment etc hidden.

Pump housing as seen from the pond area.

Main Filter kept under the sundeck.

Stream from the filter to the pond.

Stream and filter as seen from pond.

Main Water fall.

Pond and sundeck as viewed from the pool / braai area

Settlement and pump housing as seen from the sundeck looking down to the pond.

All 4 water inlets. Lily pond, stream and two waterfalls.

View of pool and braai area from the pool side. To the left is the pond.

Finally, view from the sundeck looking towards the pool. You can just see the pond in the center of the pic.

Man I really miss that pond. I spent hours there. I remember coming home from work, and just sitting there for about 30 mins listening to the water falling and the birds :-)
