PostSubject: Christie Van Zyl passed away   Sun Jul 15, 2012 7:15 am

A legend in the koi industry sadly passed away last night. He was hospitalized with a swelling on his brain last night and shorty thereafter were lost to all of us.

Christie was actively involved in the koi society, and was responsible for setting up the koi shows for the Western Cape Chapter the last few years and always was one of the major show winners.

He was the owner of Cape Koi Aquarium, and we will all miss him sincerely.

My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.

WHAT!??
Rest In Peace Christie.
Our Deepest condolences goes to his family. May God be with you in this time.
All of us at Miya Oki Koi.

Met Christie at the 2011 George Show, I was amazed with how much he thought his little girl about this hobby.
