Hi Kobus, Wink

Quarantine finishes on Monday 11th June, and consisted of 30 days at 24 degrees and anti parasite treatments, and KHV tests. To date all are healthy and looking great, with the final KHV test going to Durban for confirmation tomorrow.

lol!

I will be taking individual Koi photos over the next couple of days and will put them on the forum with the majority of them on my website, superb Goshiki, Gin Goshiki, Showa, Sanke, Tancho Goshiki, Yellow Ogon, Shiro Utsuri, Ai-goromo Ochiba Shigure Asagi, to name but a few of the varieties, all show potential and perhaps future champion material!!!

Regards

James Wink

Hi Kobus & Neli. Wink

Sorry for the delay in responding, for some reason I don’t get notified when people respond to a post?

Sorry I haven’t will try to get and update picture for you.

All the tosai are still in the mud pond they have been neglected should have taken them out, but this shipment became priority? Crying or Very sad

Regards

James Wink

Hi, Smile

A big thank you to all that supported Pongoi Koi and its fish at the show, when all the controversy has settled with regard to peoples personal preferences on what individual Koi should have won, along with people’s behaviour and ethics to others during the show, it must be remembered all Koi entered and selected for merit are exceptional to someone and a winner.

Below are Pongoi Koi results.

Isa Showa 40cm took Supreme Champion size 4 and Nominated for G.T.
Always a bride’s maid never the bride?

Isa Showa 40cm took 1st place size 4
Both are going now for Oyagoi and retired from showing. But you never know they may make a comeback!!!

Sakai (Isawa) Sanke 38cm took 1st place size 4. This female has a big future.

Hiroi Goshiki 22cm took 1st place size 2. And nominated Special Variety Nomination.
Congratulations Mathew and Talya on selecting this Koi it’s a fish that will set the standard in future shows.

Pongoi Shiro 27cm took 1st place size 2 and Nominated for Supreme size 2. Congratulations to Dave M for purchasing it, like to see it next year.

Pongoi Shiro 19cm took 1st place size 1. Looking forward to seeing this Koi’s development, its selection was influenced by many but mainly by Kevin Harrison, thank you.

Igarashi, Ochiba Shigure 44:9cm took 2nd place size 4. Its now going for Oyagoi and retiring from shows. But you never know it may resurface?

Sakai Showa 25cm no placing but Tategoi Size 2 Nomination. I am confident this fish will set the standard in the years to come.

Hiroi Goshiki 19cm size 1, took 3rd place this one’s placing confused me?

Hiroi Goshiki 36cm size 3 No placing?
I like it anyway, tired of being confused?

Regards
james
