PostSubject: What is a koi farm without water   Thu Apr 28, 2011 8:49 am

I had to use my neighbors water for my koi at municipal rates, because my surface water was not good enough for koi, so I decided to drill deep. Quite an expensive exercise. Drilling = R 70 000 and pump = R 35 000.00, total: R 105 000.00.

After 6 days of drilling up to 120m, I finally struck excellent quality water. bounce

Now I can finally run an almost open system @ R 2.90/10 000 liter and do away with some expensive pumps and filtration, and won't even mind if a pond leaks. Very Happy

Alls well that ends well.
