Resun pumps for sale to beat those electricity hikes.

The electricity consumption is a fraction of the more traditional pumps.

90 watts for 18 000 liters: PC 18 000

This one goes for R 1260.00.

Hi Marius, sal more die flowchart pos.

Dankie Neville

I'm seriously considering this pump for my 12 000L also with waterfall. I'm still busy constructing but did'nt cater for the submersible pump but I definitely can make the adjustments now! I was advised earlier to consider using the submersible ... maybe I should listen!

Hi Marius

So as jy bends het sal jy minder water kry.

PC 18 000 90 watts - 18 000 liter - 3 meter head
PG 18 000 250 watts - 18 000 liter - 6 meter head

Thanks Jona, I will do that. The Qt is not a problem at all. I suck clean water from the far end of the filter system and it runs back via UV and waterfall. Head height to UV is maybe 20cm and the waterfall is about 50cm from pond water level.

In my large pond I pump to the filters, so I suck water from settlement chamber. Currently I have a Metala pre filter in chamber which I made myself (not going to pay R5600 for 4 pre-filters). The stuff you buy contains a green and blue sheet and some small particals reach my filters, so I made one with green and grey sheets (1.2m long and sheets more dense). It works very very good with almost no dirt entering the main filter sheets.

When I convert to the smaller pumps I need to modify the pre-filter part a bit to prevent the pumps clogging up. Should not be a major problem.

My sisteem sal teen die 18de werkend wees so sal dan post hoe myne werk.

Indication of the flow rate I received on my test run with one PC 18 000, outlet temporarily reduced to 50mm for the test. Will eventually not be reduced. (Not bad for 90 watts)

The pumps are selling like hot cake. New consignment available on Monday.

I still have to do some changes on my new systems and neaten up, but currently one PC 18000 handles 20 000 liter with ease, at a fraction of the costs of my other ponds. (90 watts on pump + 30 watts on UV plus 60 watts on air compressor = 180 watts in total)

I have split the 75mm outlet into two 50mm outlets to enable me to fit a standard UV with 50mm connections. One line feeds a "bakkie shower" made of normal house gutters filled with zeolite. Two more gutters and a spray bar to be added above the top gutter and a bucket system bakkie shower to be added above settlement chamber.

I am sucking from my last chamber filled with 100 liters of kaldness(aerated) where most biological filtration will take place. Second chamber filled with heavy duty Japanese matting to act mainly as mechanical filtration and first chamber to be filled with brushes to assist with settlement of solids.

So far so good.

Any advice will be welcome.
