Lot of development still to come on the Sanke despite the fact that it is already almost 60 cm which is a good sign. The sumi will consolidate and will create a good balance between the Hi and Sumi in time.
The Red circle over the eye might be a demerit but creates an interesting look and pattern.
Very sharp Kiwa.
Difficult to judge the Shiro from the photo but looks good.
Hi could extend a bit more to the back as it makes the Hi a bit too heavy on the front.

The Kohaku has very deep Hi and the right colour for further positive development.
No proper Adome. The Hi goes into the tail which is a demerit.
A bit unbalanced (right/left) but excellent menware.
Shiro of high qualility and good kiwa.

Both are excellent fish in my opinion.

Hi Paul

Thank you for your opinion. I agree with almost every thing you say. The Sanke will most probably only peak at 6 years of age it is now 3 years old. The photo's was also taken just after harvesting from the mud pond.

The Kohaku is 2 years old and was also photographed directly after harvesting from the same mud pond. The shiroji on both fish is exhalent snow white. Just remember I am not a professional photographer
Crying or Very sad But I do know a good Koi when I see one lol!

Hi Jaco
