PostSubject: Sand filter lid   Tue Jul 20, 2010 4:27 pm

My gardener managed to break this connection on the lid of my swimming pool filter.

I need to replace the lid. This will be R450.

I was just thinking- If I use the koi pond filter for the swimming pool, I can buy a koi pond filter for the koi pond. How much does a koi pond filter cost and is it really worthwhile?
I have never really looked at them, but the holes in the fingers are better and I suppose the lid will be easier to remove for the stirring job?

Any thoughts?

That would be a yes, much easier to use and purpously build for a koi pond.

Hi Albie,

They vary a lot, at present the green Waterflo is the best priced, I think around R1600.00 and then they go up to 3000.00 I have seen, that is for 3 Bag filters. Don't hold me to it it is approximate prices. But as Jaco says dedicated for koi.
