It is Show time!
The S.A.K.T.A. will have their first annual All Combined Koi Show and Trade Show from the 15th – 17th of August 2008 at one of the most successful shopping centres in Gauteng, Kolonnade Shopping Centre in Montana Park, Pretoria. The 15th of August 2008 the show will be open for the trade only and judging will also take place on this day, from the 16th of August 2008 the show will be open to the general public. The prize giving will be held on the 16th as well. All the Koi on show will be up for sale from the Saturday morning after prize giving, with the exception of Koi owned by the Koi Keepers.
The show will be held English style. Each participant will have their own show pond. The show will cover all fifteen varieties of Koi. There will be three categories, one for local produced Koi, one for imported Koi and one combined for local and imported Koi.

Who could enter the Show?
Any Koi Breeder, Dealer, Importer and Grower whom is a paid up member of S.A.K.T.A., adhering to the S.A.K.T.A. protocols and code of ethics for at least six months prior to the show date.
The S.A.K.T.A. committee made the decision to allow all Koi keepers to enter their Koi into the show, so any person owning a Koi and feel that His / Her Koi will do well at the show may enter their Koi into the show. No Koi keeper may sell his Koi from his show vat during or after the show.
Any Koi keepers that would like to enter their Koi in to the show must contact their nearest S.A.K.T.A. dealer / Breeder so that the Koi could be tested for KHV and SVC. All tests done are for the owners account. No negative test results, no entry and no exception will be made.
If you have entered your Koi into SAKKS Shows in the past and did real well, then this is your opportunity to see if your Koi have what it takes to be the best in South Africa.

Who is the Trade?
The trade is any person, organization or wholesaler that buys in Bulk and resells to the public or clients.
Who is a Koi Keeper?
Any person that owns Koi
How many Prizes will there be?
There will be prizes for all three categories and all fifteen varieties.
Category 1 (Local produced Koi) + Category 2 (Imported Koi) = Category 3 (Overall)

Who will be doing the judging?
A group of national and international judges will do the judging for the show.
Will the public pay an entrance fee?
Yes, they will pay an entrance fee, we will inform you of the amount closer to the show.
