What do you do when you’re most lovable koi pass on to koi heaven?

Well a client of us decided to keep the koi a Jumbo Yamabuki Ogon in his house. He phoned a taxidermist and had it made in to a full size trophy.

PostSubject: Details of Koi pond   Koi Heaven EmptyFri Mar 26, 2010 10:31 pm

Our koi pond takes about 3500 litres of water - about 60cm deep. Fortunately the Koi are still really small - we will obviously have to reduce the amount of fish when they grow bigger. We seem to have a problem with crows "hunting" our fish - I've caught 2 crows stalking them yesterday! Would they actually be able to catch the fish? If so, we will have to put a cover over the pond to protect them.
Please advise!

I doubt it if the crows will catch the fish. We have loads of crows on the farm, and they do not bother going to the dams full of fish.
