Some of my fish. The goshiki +- 60cm is very tame.

Filtration on a pond? I never had any on my first gold fish pond. When i mailed some uk dealers about filtration for my "pond" they said....just replace all the water weekly. geek

Hello my name is Stumble, and I am a koi addict.
I am from Durban.
I havent had koi for about 5 years, but have fallen off the wagon again, and built my 2nd pond. lol!

Okay I wasnt that bad. lol. see how clear the water was.
I got fed up with the sand filter clogging, so took out the sand, and replaced with bio filter media.

so I had small pump>sand filter with no sand>uv light>pond
and .75 pump>1000lt home made bio filter>pond.
... no settlement chamber so the maintenance on these filters was huge and time consuming, but my water was always perfect and in all my years never had a sick fish. bom

oh forgot to say, one small bottom drain 50mm and it worked. tongue
