Dankie Neville vir die mooi woorde, weet nie of hy nog so mooi is nie. Sal later vandag sien. In die dam lyk hy vir my nou baie donker.

Collin, ek het lank gelede geskryf onder RATE the dealers:

Orient Koi : Good, Colin is a bit of a rough caracter - but he is a straight shooter and has never given me any BAD fish.

Ek het nou nog nie verskriklike groot en duur visse by jou gekoop nie maar ek staan daar by....give a man whats due to him...

Evaluate both these Goromo'si and considering the price and distance claims made elsewhere on this forum who made the profit?

Owner Neville, Dealer
Loolilocks, Israeli, Male R 2200 should do well in a show

Owner Wayne, Dealer
Orient Koi, Japanese, Female R 2400 First place 2009 WCKC

I suppose the next 2 to 3 years will show the real quality on both these good looking Koi

Photo taken today 10 months later.
Length : 50cm

As i said it got darker, one can see the asagi genes kicking in. Would one still classify it as Budo Goromo or as Sumi Goromo?

This is an indication of how drastic a Koi can change in one year and with a growth of 10CM. In my opinion the body confirmation has improved but she is too dark for my personal liking. This is a practical example of Koi change over time. I am not blaming the dealer as this is the risk one takes when buying smaller Koi. For all I know this change could be a good thing. The only important issue is, will the current owner buy the Koi again today, or does he now wants to sell it. Question I happen to know that Wayne is still very happy with her.

I notice keepers post very old pictures of their Koi and not necessary the latest. You are very brave Wayne lol!

Hi Wayne

A - wys waar die ligte kleur uitgroei.
