If you would like to order any koi from Japan you will need to contact Lee-Ann by email la@orientkoi.com / 0833873177 or PM or on the forum. This is your opportunity to make use of our knowledge to hand select for you the best koi your money can buy.

Firstly we feel it important to state that we QT your order for free. There are no extra costs involved!

All koi will be QT on our farm for 30 days and then it will be send on to you or you can collect it from the farm. You must QT your new koi for a further 14 days at your premises.

Or

You can collect your koi the day it lands and QT yourself, however Orient Koi Farm will not be liable for the koi’s health if this option is selected.

All pre-paid clients will be able to come and meet their new koi on the farm after the first 14 days QT by appointment only. During this visit you will also be able to select more koi from our Japanese Koi selected during this trip. The rest of our Imported koi will only go on the internet after our pre-paid clients has selected during their visit to the farm. As you can see it is in your best interest to be a pre-paid client.

As you can see from the itinerary it is not possible to contact all clients from Japan. We can only reserve koi over R20 000.00 for 24H and these clients will be contacted from Japan and sent photos of the koi.

No orders will be accepted after 05th of March 2010 - no exceptions will be made.

Photos of koi bought on the prepaid system will only be sent to our customers buying Nisai (two year old) or older koi.

Koi from Japan can be ordered from as little as R950.00 for an 18 – 21cm for koi in its first year.

Nisai or two year old koi can be ordered in the price range from as little as R 3 500.

These prices are linked to the exchange rate.
Prices quoted above are for collection from the farm.
Freight costs to any airport in South Africa ranges from R250.00 – R450.00 depending on the weight of the box.

Every effort is made to bring koi as close to your requirements (Both in taste, quality and budget) as possible.

But look at that quality...ive never seen such quality localy. The tosai of 18cm is rough! Wonder who is going to spend that on a tosai...big gamble...if i was bidding then ill rather pay the extra 20K for the sanke then.

Collin post maar nog as jy kans kry, is baie interesant. Dit ruk mens so bietjie terug in realityd in.

Hey Collin,

Are the new purchases on your sales page, or does that only happen after quarantine?

Hi Cliff

No they are not on the sales page, they might not even make it there as we only bought for the prepaid clients and maybe 50 or so extra. The prepaid clients get first option to buy the 50 extras and if there is any left then they will go on the sales page.
