Free Charge Energy Source (Weza) - R 1900.00

Your answer to those power failures. Can you really afford to loose your fish? Get yourself a Free Charge Energy source to run a submersible pump and air stones for a few hours while the power is down.

A 1800 liters per hour submersible pump can run on the system for 2 hours or a small 6 watt compressor with air stone can run for 12 hours.

You can recharge it from an AC or DC source, solar, and in emergency situations, using the step treadle. Pump the system with your feet for 5 minutes and there you go again.

It is also an ideal companion when camping or fishing to run your Laptop, Dvd player, TV, to charge your cell phone, jumpstart your car or boat or use it as an emergency light source.
Can a Koi hobbyist go without an emergency energy source? No

Further information and specifications:

About the Weza
The Weza is a versatile, robust energy source providing totally dependable power for emergency situations and everyday use in remote applications.  Unlike similar power packs, in emergency situations, or when power is not available, the Weza can be energized using only your legs by stepping on the innovative foot treadle.  Depending on input effort electrical energy is created at between 25 and 40 Watts.  The Weza has foldable stabilizer arms, making it easily portable and able to be stowed neatly, ideal for boats, motor homes and campers.  The Weza features an internal rechargeable 12V, 7Ah lead acid battery capable of jump starting a range of vehicle engines, as well as powering a wide range of other devices.  The Weza can also be fully charged from either an AC or DC source when available e.g. wall, car charger or solar (solar option not supplied) accepting 110V to 240V AC and DC from 13V to 21V.
The Weza is supplied with an 18V 1.5A AC/DC Adapter that can be plugged into a standard AC wall outlet.  The internal battery can be recharged in approximately 8 hours.  In addition, the Weza is supplied with a DC charging cable that enables charging from the cigarette lighter socket of a vehicle with a cigarette lighter socket.  The Weza is carried in a sturdy nylon bag with a waterproof rubberized base, storage pouches and reflective strips allowing easy portability and safe storage of the Weza and accessories.  Included in the bag is a pair of heavy-duty jumper cables and a small service tool kit allowing field maintenance of the Weza.  A truly portable, power independent energy source, the FreeCharge Weza provides meaningful power anytime, anywhere.
Benefits
Green energy - a sustainable energy solution that’s built to last.  The power mechanism is tested to 500 000 input cycles. Absolute independence from all conventional power sources – no grid or batteries required ever.
Rugged design. Like all of Freeplay products, the Weza integrates advanced electrical and mechanical design and superior materials making it extremely rugged and suitable for use in the harshest of climates.  The casing is made of rubber modified polypropylene and glass-filled nylon. The transmission is made of a combination of acetyl, glass-filled nylon and aluminum, while the input levers, pedal and stabilizer arms consist of glass-filled nylon.  All plastic materials used are thermoplastics and can be recycled.
The FreeCharge Weza is a powerful, efficient harvester of human energy – allowing you to generate and store sufficient energy to power a wide variety of devices.
The Weza is powerful enough to provide a boost to jump start motor vehicles.
The generic cigarette lighter socket allows you to charge all of your personal electronic devices (cell phone, PDA, iPod, GPS etc.) with a single base charger.
As a portable energy pack, charge it up in your SUV or camper during the day, and at night use the fully charged Weza as an ideal portable power source – for lighting and other applications around the camp sight.
An ideal backup power supply, ensuring that you’ll always be able to make that emergency call, get a GPS location fix, or start a vehicle stuck with a dead battery.
Instant power on demand, when you need it and where you need it.
Battery level and effort level indication allow you to gauge your input level, and determine battery charge level at any time.
Compatible with similar 12V charging devices like wind turbines and solar panels, making the Weza an ideal addition to your independent energy infrastructure.
