Yes,

Hard to tell properly from those pics, but that definately does seem to have potential.

What are the sizes of the parents and the quality and extent of their fukirin?

Cause if they have decent size and excelent fukirin then its all systems go, the rest of the quality is there already.

David,

The mother is a Izumiya Yamabuki Ogon (+80cm), the father is just a local breed Yellow Ogon.

Ah sas you posted under two places.

Other postt is at http://koionline.forumotion.com/pond-gallery-post-photos-of-ponds-here-f12/my-home-breed-yellow-ogon-18cm-t1434.htm

wayneb,

I am glad that you like this koi.

Is my bad, i posted it at the wrong place.....

This yellow ogon is +-6 months old, but it's already +-18cm...... I am not sure if this growth rate is good or bad in South Africa's weather condition.

About the Bekko, i put her in my green water pond. So, i haven't seen her for a long time, not sure if she still alive...... @_@

But i will drag my green water pond early winter.
