Hereby a copy of e-mail I received - Koi Sale at Happy Koi tomorrow:
"Can you believe that this is summer? Seriously? If this is global warming, folks, we've had it. We might as well be living in SoggyLand (i.e. England - apologies to the English but that's their weather!).
Despite the inclement weather of about minus 45 we've committed to the sale tomorrow and so it is still happening. We won't invite the 'high water' cliche at this point in time though!
10am at the shop, 158 Milner Avenue Roosevelt Park. We suggest that you wrap up super duper warmly, wear your snow shoes and brave the adverse conditions - we know you'll find it worthwhile! We will make sure we have some coffee on the go for you to sip on - if it is anything like today though you might be well advsied to bring along some brandy to put in it!
Also after a monumental fight of legendary proportions with governement (grrrr!), right up there with Troy and the Battle of the Bulge, the details of which we won't bore you with, we have our Hikari Koi food shipment on hand. To celebrate with the first twenty customers who buy a 15kg bag of Saki Hikari we will be handing out one of the legendary Hikari Calendars - this being the 2010 flavour. These are limited edition calendars and this is the ONLY WAY you can get your hands on one of these precious gems.
The living precious gems are comparatively easy. We are looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
The Frozen Koi Boys."
