Thanks Shawn
Over the past two years I have had many advice help and support from Koi Keepers, forum people, dealers and personal Koi friends. The pond was designed by Julie de Villiers from KoiCare in Pretoria without ever visiting my property. This was achieved by mailing photographs of the area and my terrible measurements. One only has to ask and the Koi keepers will part with their secrets and share pitfalls to avoid.

Having said all off this, should my pond be successful it stands to reason it my design, should it fail it is the bum advise received from my bum Koi keeper friends.

As we speak my Nexus 300 is on its way from Vredenburg, at last after more than a year it will be on my property and I am eager to fit it in my filter bay. I hope it fits and that the 110 bottom drain pipe is in the correct position.

http://www.vandyckcarpets.com/ProductOutDoorProfile.aspx?Id=3

Maruis, ''Leisure range'' thats my kind of product. "LG"

The Nexus arrived last night and after a few soft drinks we placed it in the filter bay. I did not have the courage to do it earlier for fear of pipework and nexus not fitting. I had a good night sleep between 2 and 5. bounce

Shaped the water pit with concrete & removed grid for overnight galvanizing.

Shapes a concrete bevel 250 x 250 around bottom drains, ready for plastering

This construction will be the roof of a Koi house in the USA. Maybe I should consider to put this on my filter bay to hide the green trickle towers from street view.

Will be installing the trickle towers tomorrow!....time and weather permitting. Cleaned the last 8mths dust from them today, had a 110 pipe with rubber on the one side, crimped to a 90mm on the opposite side made up by Umbhobho in Brackenfell today. Thanks Collin

Galvanizing is done, so I can install the 2 green monsters tomorrow, its going to take lots of brickwork to hide them from view.
