Bobby
Since SF is the Springbok Rugby coach we should respect him!
The sign must be some insult. I hesitate to enquire?

Installed the skimmer today to enable me to work out levels in filter bay. All levels based from the skimmer center. I will have to collect my Nexus from Vredenburg in the next couple of days or face a problem lifting it over the wall. The green trickle towers x 2 from Wilpet (1400 x 1300 x 800) will also come into play this week and it will be a challenge to hide them from all corners outside filter bay.
I was informed this week that to fix a 110m fitting on these green towers with PVC Glue is not a good idea. Any one with experience on the towers?

Will do some more pipework over the week-end

No mid water returns?

I no longer have a waterfall return ex Nexus. This has been replaced with one mid-water return below window. The trickle towers and the X 2 EA air-pump's will do the trick keeping Koi happy. x2 90mm gravity fed pipes ex trickle towers will enter pond in opposite directions on and below water level turning the water anti-clock wise.

If the towers are made out of flexible plastic I'd go for a 110mm tank connector or two 90mm tank connectors T'd into a 110mm pipe back to your pond.

Trickle Tower Media Block also used in cooling towers.

If a 110mm joint can slip over the that exit I'll just use good old silicone to seal it. no need for PVC cement.

Thanks Ernst, I will try the silicone, it's a gravity exit, no pressure so it should work.

To be a Koi keeper one needs to be a pvc pipe handy, plumber, electrician, builder a water expert. etc etc eg. ducking and diving the SF experts

Today tried to install electrical plug boxes, pipes line in preparation for the wiring and pipes for light switches.

Also a few PVC ball-valves on some waste lines.

Also placed the 90 mm gravity return lines into place ready for building. Return from trickle towers into pond

Dankie Collin, Ek het dit nogal oorweeg maar was skrikkerig om dit self voor te stel met al die experts op die forum. EK aanvaar dis die 90 toilet bend met die rubber binne aan beide kante van bend.
