Liters : 200 000L
Number of fish : 150+-
Pumps : 10 x 75 0000LPer hour
Filtration houses : 2
Bottom drains : 10
Vortexes : 10
Bakkie Showers : 64

The pond has a filter room (Vortex room) right next to the pond where the 10 Huge vortexes are located. There are also some windows through which a person can stand and watch the koi. 40mm of glass is all that separates you from 200 000 liters of water.
The water gets pumped from the vortex room up to another specially build room the size of a Double garage. In the room you can found 64 bakkie showers with Japaneses matting as the media used through out. The water then runs from this room down a canal to a small water feature small pond from here the water returns as a water fall into the main pond.

Thanks to Wayne Barker for permission to post the photos.
