PostSubject: My 12 year old son's fish   Mon Jul 13, 2009 11:11 am

My son wanted a quad bike for his birthday and I said no ways, too expensive. So, instead I gave him a choice of four tosai to grow on for a year which he can sell after 12 months to buy his quad. He contributed towards the liner and digger loader hire and have to contribute towards food with his pocket money.

Very proudly releasing his own fish in his own pond(5000 liters)

His best choice. Name: Quad, ginrin Kohaku, Breeder: Hiroi

Name: Casper, Purachina, breeder: Chogoro (water a bit dirty)

Name: Lemon, Yamabuki Ogon, Breeder: Hirasawa

Name: Suzuki, Hi Utsuri, Breeder: Hirasawa (the red is starting to come out and should be totaly red and black within a year)

What do think of his choices? He insisted on making his own choices.

Mooi man!cheers

Die shiroji is skitterwit and hi baie diep.

Nice looking fish, will be interesting to see if he choose to part with them later, by the sounds of things he is rather interested in the hobby Smile

What's the fish in the overview bucket that you didn't mention looks interesting.

I thought it was a Doitsu Sanke, but after bowling him, I saw that the "sumi" coming up has got a blue tint and the beni is almost metallic Goshiki like beni, which could indicate that it might be a doitsu Goshiki. If so, it will become a very interesting Goshiki. With the netting, it got a split fin, but should heal soon.

The blue does not show very well on the photo:
