Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

05 Storm pic taken 22-08-2009 Ginrin Sanke bred by Hiroi. Menware allright, good ginrin, very good quality hi, good kiwa, good shiroji, but unbalanced. Too little hi at the back. Hopefully the Sumi will start to break through more. Not a good bodyshape. Still very nice fish.

06 Angel pic taken 28-02-2009 Purachina bred by Chogoro. His platinums are the best in the world according to all the experts. Pectoral fins not perfect.

07 Alan pic taken 01-03-2009 Sanke bred by Hiroi. A pitty that the hi is breaking up a bit.

08 Spot pic taken05-03-2009 Kikusui bred by Aoki, the best Kikusui breeder in the world. Very very clean and high quality metallic hi shine with excellent backgound and good skin quality. A bit dirty on the head. Hope it goes away.

09 Papa pic taken 20-08-2009 Gin Shiro Utsuri bred also by Aoki after it lost it's hi. Hopefully the Sumi will fill in and get stronger. Good metallic shine but a bit heavy towards the back. Turned out to be not as nice as it was.

As for showing, my opinion , you can take 01 , 06 and 08.
