| Hi, I visited Jakoi ( Jaco Vorster) in Odendalsrus the past weekend, and here are some photos taken during the visit. Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

| Some Kohaku with good potential. Nice setup. From the photo, Saartjie rather looks like a Shiro Muji and not Sorogoi? Are the "small kikokuryu" not rather Doitsu Gin Matsuba Ogon? |

| I bought het from Pierre Jordaan in Bloemfontein 8 years ago. She was bred by Marusei koi farm and her mother was 1.2m long. She is very light coloured. _________________ Jaco Vorster

| Hi Jaco, on the last photo I can see the grey clearly. On the first photo the grey appears off-white like the Shiro Muji. |
