Hi,

I visited Jakoi ( Jaco Vorster) in Odendalsrus the past weekend, and here are some photos taken during the visit.

The Kohaku are the ones from the selling ponds, the better ones were already selected.

Some Kohaku with good potential. Nice setup.

From the photo, Saartjie rather looks like a Shiro Muji and not Sorogoi?

Are the "small kikokuryu" not rather Doitsu Gin Matsuba Ogon?

I can assure you Saartjie is not a Shiro Muji but a high quality Soragoi of about 86cm.

Why is her head so yellowish? Looks like a isreali?...just asking.

I bought het from Pierre Jordaan in Bloemfontein 8 years ago.
She was bred by Marusei koi farm and her mother was 1.2m long.
She is very light coloured.

Hi Jaco, on the last photo I can see the grey clearly. On the first photo the grey appears off-white like the Shiro Muji.
