Kinders

Hier is 'n paar van my kinders, enige kommentaar is welkom, My Vissies kom hoofsaaklik van Cape Koi Aquarium die Mask van Orient Koi en Maruten van Brain Lee.

Indien iemand van my vissies hou, laat weet vir my, anders raas met my verskaffers LOL

Kindai 58cm

Lipstick 53cm

Maruren 64 cm

Mask 51cm Junior Grand Champion George 2008

Post from Koi Bito
As to the Kohaku, all are female, correct?

Lipstick is a graceful fish. She will be a pretty sight in any pond.

Maruten is scrawny!...I like that. At 64cm and still that long and lean, she has a lot of growing to do. Be patient with her. Folks are not going to appreciate her for a couple of years still.

Mask stands out for her robust body and that thick tail. I like the head. The cream yellow tones do not concern me.

In regard to all 3, I believe the beni is the key issue. You have 3 different body types, but I believe the beni is the same on each. The kiwa is not even and the sashi is imperfect. I cannot tell if the beni is maturing too quickly for the bodies' development or if it is still forming itself. If it is the latter, you have a nice collection of Kohaku you will enjoy for quite some time. If it is the former, enjoy them now. Within each step the Hi seems even with no weak areas (assuming glare not covering something up). So, I'm thinking optimistically.

Hi Bobby

As we supplied you most of the koi above I will not elaborated on them too much. For all other members, the mask won Junior Grand Campion in George in 2008.

The Kindai Showa needs a mud pond for a yaer or so, that will bring up the black.

All the koi are female as far as I know.

My favourite is Lipstick, the Kuchibeni. Maybe the odome is a bit large, but it is going to develop into a very nice Kohaku. Small possibility that it becomes a three step over the years. Shiroji excellent and very deep hi with very nice pattern.

The Kindai doesn't do it for me, but the other fish great. Pitty that the Hi on the Maruten extends into the dorsal fin and tail.

Very nice and neat setup.
