I see I have plenty of pigeon’s drinking water from my filter system. I plan to close the chambers but do you recon they might be introducing some parasites??
What are your thoughts about the dirty rocks and plants in waterfall return?? I want to take them all out – nothing but water between filters and pond.

I want to make the following statement;
If KHV can be transfer by “hands” and equipment from one pond to another pond, then birds can do the same!
So how safe is our ponds from KHV?

Yes that is my concern as well. Two weeks ago I got hold of sheets to cover the filters and settlement chamber to try and keep cats, birds and the like away. Going to install them this week. This should keep some dust and leaves away from filters as well. I don't fill my pond to the top ( about 30cm open space ) to prevent cats, dogs and birds drinking water. Hopefully this will help to keep most things away and only the pond will be open for me to see my fish.
What about the rocks in waterfall??
