The South African Koi Keepers Society in conjunction with The Gardener magazine is looking for the best Koi pond in SA.

Prizes: Subcription to The Gardener and SAKKS, Koi food, Equipment, Living Jewels Koi book, DVD players and more.

Closing date has been extended until the end of today.

A friend of mine won the small pond catagory.
It is not in the July issue and should be in August I presume.
Lucky SOB won some nice stuff too.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia. Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
