We do not have a Koi Baby show in the Western Cape and I have never been to one.

Do you know what their definition of "Baby" is and what is the difference between the Baby Koi Show and the normal Annual Koi Shows.

I saw that last years Grand Champion was 43 cm. I would not really consider that as a "Baby"?

We could ask Collin, As far as I can remember he said that a Baby Koi is not based on size but on age.... up to 3yrs? can even be 70cm, should really then be called a Young Koi Show!!

Does not make sense to me, maybe we should explore a Western Cape unofficial one day Baby Koi Exhibition up to size 4 and get the Dealers to be the judges, as a means to create more interest in the Koi hobby.

The Baby Show is only from size 1 to 4 the koi can be 100 years old as long as it is in size 4

You must be thinking about the “AJNPA All Japan Young Koi Show.” In this show the size is not taken into account, but only the age...............less than four years.
