Hi there guys well just a question, I have decided to keep a good log of all my koi the date bought how much they cost food fed breeder and also a close eye on there development so i can learn. but for me to do this i need to net them and take pics, what would you say would be a good timespan between netting and should i do all the koi in the pond in one day to get it over with or spread it out over a few days,

the way i see it, i only have to stress them out once if i do them all in one day but wanted to find out what you guys think. what other info would you add to the list that i should be keeping track of.

Make yourself a drag net and drag all at once, the stress is minimal.

You can make a net for your pond from Anchovy netting available from All-Net, Epping at R 400.00 for off-cuts. You pay by weight.

A chain at the bottom and empty 2l cooldrink bottles at the top with a pole on each side and a rope to pull the bottom.

Don't buy the white net. (Heavier and more expensive) The green net is much lighter and easier to manage.
