That looks like an ulcers developing and a bacterial infection indeed. Probably Aeromonas. Treat the whole pond asap with Potassium in accordance with treatments explained elsewere on the forum, take out this fish, do topical treatments on the wound and place in a hospital tank and repeat topical treatments. Check all the other fish carefully for possible infections. If it deteriorate, try baytril injections.

That koi already developed dropsy and will not survive.

It is my Sanke but died. Every time I go home I fiddle with my filter system and about 15 to 21 days later I get a nitrite spike and then my problems start. On my previous visit to home I had to stop my filter to fit the last Matala sheets and had to wait about 4days for cement to dry before I could start filter up again. I added some salt and filter booster and hopefully the nitrite spike will be cleared soon. Currently it is 0.5 and not as bad as the previous time. Just shows you how important water parameters are.
